BREAKING NEWS!! UNIOSUN Announces Closure Of The University

The Governing Council of Osun State University has approved the closure of the University with immediate effect.

This is sequel to the notorious activities of some non-teaching staff members under the guise of unionism. These activities now pose danger to lives and properties within and around the university campuses.

Management wishes to sincerely apologize to parents, guardians and students for any inconveniences that this closure may cause. Efforts are geared towards addressing the prevalent lawlessness finally.

We urge our law abiding staff and students to remain calm and stay away from the campuses in the mean time.

Federal Government Declares Tuesday Public Holiday

Nigerian workers will have the privilege of sitting back home in the comfort of their homes to enjoy the democracy day celebration.

The Federal government on Friday declared Tuesday, 29 May as public holiday to mark the 2018 Democracy Day.

The announcement was made in a statement by the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant Gen. (Rtd) Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, on behalf of the Federal Government and issued by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. M.B Umar.

Dambazau congratulated Nigerians on the occasion and pledged government’s continued dedication to entrenching democracy in the polity.

He urged all Nigerians to trust and support the government in its commitment to building an indivisible, peaceful and greater nation based on the tenets of democracy.

Kiss Daniel Changes Stage Name To Kizz Daniel

Flyboy Entertainment Boss, ‘Kiss Daniel‘ seems to have changed his stage name to Kizz Daniel.

About a week ago, the singer did a makeover of his social media account, taking down the posts on his Instagram page and trimmed down the list of people he is following to 14, as at the time of this post.

Very recently, it was observed that the singer’s Instagram username has been changed from @iamkissdaniel to @iamkizzdaniel, brewing speculations that the “No Do” singer has adopted a new stage name and has left the name ‘Kiss Daniel’ for G-worldwide.

Recall that his former label laid claim to the ownership of his assumed former name, ‘Kiss Daniel’, in their legal battle against him.

It is believed that the change of name was done in reaction to the direction of the legal war between him and G-worldwide Entertainment.

While we await an official statement from Kiss Daniel’s camp, the speculations regarding the change of name continue to grow.

Here Are Facts About The IGP Who Couldn’t Read His Own Speech Fluently

So after the trending video of the IGP surfaced
online, I decided to make my personal research
to find out why a whole Inspector General Of
Police couldn’t deliver his own speech.
Facts About the Transmission, Transmitted IGP:-
*Bachelors degree in Agriculture from Ahmadu
Bello University Zaria
*Bachelors degree degree in Law from the
University of Maiduguri.
*He was a Commissioner of Police during the
2015 election in Kano.
*He was quickly promoted from a CP to an AIG
and then appointed IGP. A process that cost 12
brilliant AIGs their jobs.
*He has a history of disobeying orders. He
refused to go to Benue and has refused to
appear before the senate.
On Monday he shot himself in the foot by giving
Nigerians a reason to question his Law degree
with his inability to read a prepared “transmitted”

It was recently reported On SG Media that
Davido lied about owning a private jet. It was
said that he only has fractional ownership of
the jet but he spinned the full-ownership story
to give his brand an increased value. The DMW
man has now reacted to the story, reiterating
that he owns the air craft 100%.
Multiple reports had it that the story about
Davido buying a private jet is all about social
media hype. It was said that the singer entered
an agreement to purchase the air craft but his
‘financial commitment in the arrangement is
meagre while the major financiers have chosen
to play down their involvement to give Davido
conceded prominence.’
Davido has come out to debunk the story. He
dropped a comment on an Instagram news
platform, laughing off the story. His comment
read, ‘Lol owned 100 percent my friend. ‘

The governor of Taraba State, Darius Ishaku, has described President Muhammadu Buhari’s claim that Fulani herdsmen don’t move around with AK-47 rifles but sticks and machetes as false and misleading.

However, speaking to journalists in Abuja during the weekend, the governor said that it couldn’t have been imaginary that farmers were killed with AK-47 rifles in their clashes with herdsmen in Taraba and Benue states.

“It’s absolutely wrong for the President to say herdsmen don’t move around with guns. I mean, who then kills who? It couldn’t have been imaginary that people have been killed with AK-47 in the farmers-herdsmen clashes.

“We simply have to stand up to the truth and do something to stop the killings,” he said.
